Project Description
The NAB project at Murdoch University stands out as the largest mass timber construction in Western Australia setting a sustainability benchmark with renewable energy, natural ventilation, and a target of achieving a 6-star Green Star rating.
Working closely with several of the subcontractors, Design3 provided the documentation for numerous elements, such as the expansive glass canopy, intricate feature wall cladding, and window shroud seating areas.,
Design3 collaborated across multiple disciplines, including architecture, engineering, and construction to ensure that all the hydraulic and mechanical services were carefully accounted for within the documentation, preventing any potential clashes with the structural facade supports. By thoroughly documenting these elements within the framework, Design3 contributed to the seamless execution of the project and the realization of its design vision.
