Project Description
Design3 assisted one of Perth’s leading landscape architects, REALMstudios, with their BIM/Revit deliverables on the new Perth Inner City College (now known as ‘Bob Hawke College’).
Design3 were able to take the architects’ 2D landscape design and detailing and produce a 3D Revit model, which was then issued to the design team on a weekly basis for coordination purposes.
The 3D model developed by Design3 was then used to generate 2D AutoCAD details, used for clash detection with other services and proved invaluable as a visualisation tool for the Architectural designers.
The Inner City College sets out the vision for a vibrant, innovation and imaginative brand new secondary school in the heart of Subiaco, opening in 2020. Built on Kitchener Park, it will eventually support two thousand students.
Working with an architectural joint venture (T&Z and Bateman Architects), the college landscape established by REALMstudios has been designed to provide exceptional student amenity and serve as a hub for the local community.
