Project Description
The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will include new stations at Nicholson Road and Ranford Road, while upgrades will be made to Thornlie, Cockburn Central and Stadium stations.
Design3 played a key role in the Thornlie Cockburn Link project by delivering specialized cladding documentation for the Cement Fiberboard (CFC) cladding on the new train stations. Our responsibilities included creating detailed shop drawings and specifications for the cladding system, ensuring that all elements were accurately represented and aligned with the project’s design and regulatory requirements.
Our expertise extended to detailing the interfaces between the CFC cladding and other building components, addressing structural integrity and performance criteria. We provided solutions for the junctions and transitions, ensuring that the cladding system met all necessary standards for durability, weather resistance, and aesthetic coherence.
Design3’s involvement in this major infrastructure project highlights our proficiency in facade design and documentation. Our detailed work contributed to the successful execution of the CFC cladding on the Thornlie Cockburn Link train stations, enhancing both the functionality and visual appeal of these critical transport hubs.
